Standard Lockwood Selector electric mortice locks are supplied with a 3.6m cable with 12 12-pin connectors which feature a water-deflecting boot.

The 9-pin adaptor allows a Selector Electric mortice lock to be retrofitted in place of an equivalent Synergy Electric mortice lock avoiding the need to change the cabling or receiving pin. However, where a power-to-open (3582ELE) is installed it is recommended to re-wire the door to support a 3-wire control.
